Recollections -
First full day in Namur Belgium. Jacques Hostel - who still has an autographed disc from Jacques? The beginning of an unbelievable three weeks for me. Longer for some (McG)and shorter for others. Many (most?) of us hadn't slept more than a couple of minutes when we went out to this gorgeous spot to play. Long walk up a cow path to the pitch where the local club played. Little clubhouse/shack (background in one of the pictures) with a single electrical line stretching to feed the cooler!
Played a couple of games against the National Team... smoked 'em but that is completely secondary in my memory. Look at the faces in the pics. Man we were having some fun and making new friends.
And no, this wasn't a 7 Sages trip baby.... this was Fear & Loathing on the ultimate trail by THE DUKES!
